The Texas Microschool Alliance was founded in 2025 with one simple conviction: microschools across Texas are stronger together than apart.

We started because we saw something happening all over the Lone Star State — parents, teachers, and entrepreneurs quietly building remarkable little schools in living rooms, church halls, and storefronts. Each one doing incredible work. Each one doing it completely alone.

TMA exists to change that. We are the first 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Texas created specifically to unite, support, and amplify microschools and the people who run them. Not homeschool co-ops. Not charter networks. Microschools — the small, intentional, family-centered schools that are redefining what education looks like in Texas.

Together we share resources, build community, advocate for education freedom, and make sure every microschool educator in Texas knows they have an alliance behind them.
